Chet Weise’s writing appears in Copper Nickel, Poems & Plays, Bayou Magazine, We Never Learn: The Gunk Punk Undergut, 1988-200l, and Apocalypse Now: Poems and Prose from the End Days. Also a musician, his work includes Estrus recording artists The Quadrajets and the Immortal Lee County Killers. Weise earned his MFA from Murray State University, lives in Nashville, Tennessee, and teaches at Middle Tennessee State University. Weise was banned from Canada during 2008 for playing rock-n-roll without a work permit.
