Curbside Splendor was conceived in the early 1990s at an apartment in Urbana, Illinois. Officially, it was founded in the fall of 2009 and is located in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. They publish literary fiction, creative non-fiction, poetry, and art that celebrate the delicate point where gritty urban life and art intersect. The work they publish ranges from highly experimental to 'in-your-face' realism.
